Ward 58 councillor Katherine Christie, from Rondebosch, married Professor Brian Rayner, at the Homestead in Plumstead, on Monday October 31. The ceremony was attended by a handful of family and friends. Professor Rayner proposed to Ms Christie at the Pont des Arts, a pedestrian bridge in Paris famous for its love locks, at the beginning of October.
