Dad and daughter perform

Cellist Nicola McLachlan will team up with her father, pianist Grant McLachlan, for a fund-raising concert, Roots, at Rondebosch Dutch Reformed Church, at 2 Derry Road, on Sunday October 29, from 3pm. All proceeds will go towards helping Nicola complete her final year of studies at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media in Germany. Mr McLachlan is an award-winning composer of film and concert music. He holds a first-class music degree from Oxford and studied piano with Lamar Crowson and Lise-Martine Jeanneret.
