Residents, who live in areas serviced by the Schaapkraal Collections Depot, have been advised that their refuse collection scheduled for today, Friday 19 June, will not be collected due to a coronavirus case.Â
The depot has been temporarily closed for decontamination.
The affected areas are Capricorn, Capricorn Beach, Constantia, Heathfield, Muizenberg, Ottery, Pelican Park, Plumstead, Steenberg, Wynberg and Upper Wynberg.Â
Residents in these areas are adviced to take their bins out tomorrow, Saturday June 20, for collection.
Meanwhile, the province is expected to reach it’s virus peak at the end of June and the beginning of July.
Residents are encouraged to wear face masks, practice social distancing and wash hands with soap and water.Â
