Promising cyclist Noah September, from Ocean View, rounded off a great year in the saddle, winning various road and track races and is hoping to raise funds to take part in the Next Generation Track League, in the Netherlands, in January 2025, if he can raise the necessary funds.
He claimed top spot in the points race in last month’s Western Cape track championships, at Bellville Velodrome and finished second in six of the seven races he entered. He was also among the top ten finishers at the SA Youth road championships in Oudthoorn, in September, and SA Omnium championships, at Hector Norris Park, in Johannesburg, early October, an event that he has been waiting to enter for two years but couldn’t due to death in the family.
