Nasty C proved that South African hip hop is indeed alive and well.

The Black & White hitmaker has collaborated with Australian rapper Dax on a new single called 40 Days and 40 Nights.

Dax gained popularity with his remixes of Tupac’s songs Changes and All Eyes on Me. He also stirred up controversy when he released a diss track aimed at Tory Lanez.

Now, the 27-year-old has teamed up with one of Mzansi’s hottest hip-hop exports. Nasty C is known for his lyrical flow and impressive word play. He has worked with the likes of T.I, Lil Keed, Lil Gotit, and R&B songstress Ari Lennox, and was even nominated for a BET hip-hop award earlier this year.

40 Days and 40 Nights was released with a music video shot by Logan Meis and Aser Santos Jr. And although Nasty C is only a guest feature on the song, he didn’t miss the opportunity to show up and show out - proving once again why is one of the best rappers on the continent.

On Twitter, fans were ecstatic with the release, praising Nasty C for his hard-hitting bars.

One thing I liked about that Dax song ft Nasty C is that Nasty didn't try to outshine or outrap Dax he could of have went heavy too if he wanted but for fact that he delivered a Decent verse very deep man I f*cks with that song big time 😪![CDATA[]]>🔥![CDATA[]]>🔥![CDATA[]]>🔥
