Some fans took to the TikTok comment section to express their disappointment, with one user commenting, “Don’t come on that stage uninterested, I keep tomatoes in my purse.”

Others criticised her reaction, stating that she should sit the concert out and be replaced by singer Jhene Aiko, who will also be joining the tour as a supporting act.

“He added more dates because he is tryna make sure all his fans can be there for this. At the end of the day, it’s the Breezy Bowl, so if you aren’t prepared, Jhene will be,” said TikTok user Lay Lay.

However, her fans jumped to her defense, citing that she has not performed at a big concert in a long time, which might also be overwhelming for her as a mother of three.

Walker will be joining Brown on his Breezy Bowl XX tour, alongside other prominent artists like Bryson Tiller. The tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Brown’s music career and will span major stadiums across Europe and North America, with dates ranging from June to October.

The European leg is set to kick off on June 8 in Amsterdam, while the North American leg starts on July 30 in Miami. Other cities on the tour schedule include Detroit, Toronto, and Washington D.C.

The “Girls Need Love” hitmaker has been vocal about her struggles with social anxiety, particularly during her early days in the music industry.

She has expressed feelings of awkwardness on the red carpet and stage. She still struggles with performances to this day but has opened up about working on it by attending therapy and spiritual work.

In an interview with American radio host Big Boy, she shared that she has done active work to navigate her social anxiety but still does not like performing.

“I did a lot of inner work, spiritual work and a lot of therapy and so now I can talk to people,” she said.

Despite this, she has continued to thrive in her career, releasing successful albums like “Over It” and “Still Over It”. Her upcoming album, “Finally Over It”, is set to drop this year.

Additionally, the American R&B sensation has been announced as a headliner for the upcoming popular music festival Rocking The Daises, taking place in South Africa, Cape Town this October.
