Brian Daniels, a police officer from Oudshoorn, walked 420km to Cape Town to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Trust. The 52-year-old took this journey to specifically support the building of an interactive therapeutic playground for children of all abilities. The playground will provide each child with an escape from the reality of their traumatic associations and most importantly, heal through play. A total of R17.5 million is needed for the project, of which to date only R1 million still needs to be raised.
