Commemorating Youth Day with mural

Staff Reporter|Published

The Grade 9 pupils at St George’s Grammar School commemorated Youth Day by painting a mural in the high school dining hall. A tree with hand prints of pupils and teachers as the leaves symbolises growth and restoration, and working together to ensure the future of our country is bright. Pictured is Grade 9 pupil, Ragmah Adams placing her hand prints on the mural.

Working together on the mural, at back, from left, are St George’s Grade 9 pupils, Ragmah Adams, Razeen Haupt, Nina Rice and teacher, Kelly Johnson and, in front, are Hannah Roopen, Rebekah Aldum and Tristan Carelse.
