Pinelands Methodist Church unveiled its newly installed stained-glass windows on Sunday.

The windows, in the front of the church, were designed by Pinelands resident and church parishioner Maurice Fearns, 97.

Church spokesman David Geary says the windows are rich in Christian symbolism contain all the liturgical colours.

“The central window reminds us of the centrality of the cross to the Christian faith, and the other two windows depict the two sacraments the Methodist Church celebrates: baptism and communion.”

Mr Geary says interior lighting will illuminate the windows after sunset.
