The South African Parenting Programme Implementers Network (SAPPIN) held its second annual Families Indaba at Salt River Community House on Wednesday October 25 and Thursday October 26. The indaba aims to strengthen policy, spark collaboration and reinforce research and advocacy around the role that quality, evidence-based parenting programmes play in creating a better future for all. The theme for this year was “Parenting for social impact: How support for families can inspire social change.” The indaba brought together policymakers, government, business, civil society, researchers and funders.
