Cannons Creek supported Mandela Day on Thursday July 18 with several community outreach activities. Here Grade 5s peel and cut veggies for their Mandela Day project.
Teacher Candice de Villiers and pupils Molly de Witt, Amarachi Zondi, Reese Rumble and Zawadi Zondi help to prepare 139 Jars of Hope with pre-mixed soup ingredients and 26 loaves of bread for donation to the needy.Grade 4 pupils who helped to clean the areas around the Elsieskraal Canal, from left, are Eva Meiring, Safiyyah Camroodien, Kaboentle Mathe, Atiya Kaplen, Emily Gardiner-Atkinson, and Scarlett Kooyman.
