The Forever Young Seniors Club in Ocean View dressed in pink on Monday October 21 to show support for women with breast cancer and those who have lost the battle. At a get-together at the Ocean View multi-purpose centre in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, club member and retired nurse Catherine Peterson spoke about early detection and demonstrated how to self-examine. Another member, Elrica Kleinhaans, who is a breast cancer survivor, spoke about her experience with cancer, while Allison Daniels spoke about her niece who had lost her battle with breast cancer. She also addressed caring for a family member with cancer and the importance of family support.
