Cannons Creek's Adam Parkar triumphs as runner-up in national maths competition

Cannons Creek Grade 4 pupil, Adam Parkar, finished as runner-up in the junior section of the South African Mathematics Challenge, held in Johannesburg on Saturday, October 25.

He received a medal, certificate, and a cash prize at the South African Mathematics Foundation (SAMF), where well-known TV personality Jeremy Maggs was the MC.

He was accompanied by his parents and his sister Nabeela, who matriculated from Cannons Creek in 2019, along with Cannons Creek teacher Mike Ford, who received the top new school award on behalf of Cannons Creek.
