The Hill Pre-Primary in Bishopscourt celebrated the artwork of their young pupils in an art exhibition held on Wednesday, October 29. The Hill Pre-Primary principal, Kim Lawrence, said they decided to host their art exhibition with a picnic where all families could bring their picnic baskets.
“This exhibition is about celebrating and appreciating the process and the work that goes into every piece of art from every child,” she said.
Nonto Mponda came to support her son, Shaka Khumalo, 4, at this art exhibition.
“It is lovely to see the hard work that the teachers put in and to see how the community comes out to support them,” she said.
Their event also had live entertainment from Celeste Williams on keyboard and her daughter, Kirsten Williams, who sang.
