Help needed: Identify a critically injured patient at Groote Schuur Hospital

Groote Schuur Hospital is seeking a next of kin for their patient, Elory Malan, who has been at the hospital since Saturday, January 24.

According to Groote Schuur administrator Myrna Freeman, the patient has suffered a head injury.

The patient was originally brought to the New Somerset Hospital, which then brought him by ambulance to Groote Schuur.

Ms Freeman said that the patient is described as being a coloured male, who is thin. He also has tattoos on his left arm as well as a star tattoo on his chest.

He also has the names of “Solly” and “Jean” tattooed. He is currently in Ward D13 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). If anyone of the public can identify the patient, please contact the hospital ward at 021 404 3010.
