A ghost-writer by day and book blogger and author pre-dawn, Amy Heydenrych launched her third book, Bad Luck Penny, at The Book Lounge in Roeland Street in the city centre on Thursday April 18.
In conversation with local author of the Being series of books, Qarnita Loxton, Heydenrych has been shortlisted twice for the Miles Morland African Writing Scholarship. Her first two novels, Shame on You and The Pact, were published internationally, and she was a co-author on the South African best-seller, Chasing Marian.
Her latest book is based in Scarborough with an overdue family reunion where being together brings back feelings from the past.
