Mowbray police arrested two women on Thursday January 9 in connection with stolen property, which the police recovered.
According to Mowbray police chief Lieutenant Colonel David Malong, one woman was arrested for being in possession of stolen property while the other was arrested for housebreaking and theft of the stolen property.
Lieutenant Colonel Malong said police, private security and Law Enforcement had visited a Long Street house, in Mowbray, responding to a tip-off that there was stolen property there.
They had found a digital camera, a kettle, headphones, backpacks, ornaments and alcohol stolen during a housebreaking the day before.
More stolen property had been recovered in tents used by vagrants in the area, he said.
