Karaoke night

Cannons Creek Independent High School held its annual karaoke night on Thursday May 8. The event was organised by the Cultural Prefect Portfolio.
Michael Morgan, in Grade 12, performed Kurt Darren's Kaptein, where he was later joined on stage by his Afrikaans teacher and a few other enthusiastic pupils.

Grade 7 pupil Sazi Masango sang XO by Beyoncé, and rallied the audience to join in.

Grade 9 pupils Zoe Inegbese, Madison Beck, Sadie-Mia Ronne, Qaylah Omar, and Lara Hawyn performed Billie Eilish's Birds of a Feather.

Hannah van Wyk and Naledi Siswana, in Grade 10, received a commendation for their performance of Perfect by Ed Sheeran.
