The Friends of Valkenberg(FoVT) trust is calling on vendors and entertainers to support their Friendly Market and Festival at their Observatory premises on Saturday December 3.
This is the second outdoor Friendly Market and Festival hosted by the hospital.
“Our objectives are to create an integrated and holistic day of activity and entertainment to not only raise funds for our organisation, which works to support the recovery of mental healthcare users, but to have a day of fun for the whole family and promote wellbeing in our communities,” says FoVT events manager, Gail Henry.
FoTV are looking for any musicians, dance groups and unique acts that could volunteer to share their repertoires of happy songs and uplifting routines with the community that can help promote mental health.
There will be a food truck village offering a variety of cultural cuisines, arts and garden stalls, children’s games and a colour run.
