Rahmaniyeh Primary School pupils and staff were picketing outside their school on Friday, September 26, in support of Palestine.
The school pupils and staff were standing on the pavement of the District Six-based school with posters to highlight the plight of the people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip. School principal Shireen Jaffer said her pupils and staff demonstrated care and empathy to show support for lives lost in Gaza, highlighting that every child is our child.
“The event emphasized the importance of compassion and awareness, encouraging educators to be more mindful of the struggles faced by others, but especially those in Palestine,” she said.
The pupils standing on the pavement with their posters and flags to show to passing motorists.
