Woodstock-based Queen's Park AFC rounded off a good season in the Cape Town Tygerberg LFA and have been promoted from Second Division to First Division. Established in 1965, the year went down in the club’s history books as a memorable one as Queen's Park’s first team ended as league champions and second place on the log, the first time in two decades. Like many clubs, members battled financial difficulties and the limited resources.
