Despite a 2-0 defeat, the only one throughout the competition, Windsor was ultimately victorious, beating Zeekoevlei 1-0 in the cup final. Coach Grant Knipe promised them lunch at a popular eatery should they have won all of their group matches. However, the coach went one better, buying the entire squad tickets to this weekend’s African Champions League clash between Cape Town City and Petro de Luanda at Cape Town Stadium.
