Glenthorn A’s edged Tantasport in a tightly contested Major League encounter at Turfhall on Sunday, with the sides separated by a single run at the final whistle.
It was a tough weekend for Tantasport, who also suffered defeat in their Saturday fixture against Westridge Yankees. The two matches were the only Major League games played over the weekend in the women’s section.
In First Division action, Battswood claimed an 8–6 victory over Silvertree Titans, while Westridge Yankees recorded a dominant 12–0 win against Crusaders.
